Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service from ordering to seating and payment processing
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct transactions
- Prepare and serve food items following safety and sanitation standards, maintaining cleanliness throughout the front of house area
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly recommendations
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively




- Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure prompt service and a positive dining experience

Skills

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for accurate order entry and payment processing
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure a clean environment
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not required
