Blackwood Interiors is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Construction Labourer to join our team in Central Alberta.

This is a hands-on role supporting our renovation, cabinetry, and residential construction projects. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working on active job sites, takes direction well, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help keep projects moving.

Responsibilities

- Assist carpenters, installers, project managers, and other trades on site
- Move, load, unload, and organize materials
- Prepare work areas for construction and renovation work
- Assist with demolition and site preparation
- Help with basic carpentry and installation tasks as directed
- Perform general job site cleanup throughout the day
- Remove construction debris and keep work areas safe and organized
- Use basic hand and power tools safely
- Pick up or deliver materials and supplies when required
- Protect finished surfaces and client spaces during renovation work
- Follow site safety procedures and company standards
- Help with other general construction duties as needed

What We're Looking For




- Previous construction or renovation experience is an asset, but we are willing to consider the right person with a strong work ethic
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work
- Able to follow instructions and work well with a team
- Comfortable with physical work, lifting, carrying, and being on your feet throughout the day
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Strong attention to job site cleanliness and safety
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation preferred
- Experience using basic hand and power tools is an asset
