You will be supported by a robust team of field technicians and specialized in-office staff, actively generating high-quality service opportunities for our specialized HVAC and gas divisions.

Compensation & Our Commitment

- Premium Hourly Rate: $55.00 – $70.00 per hour (+ HST) depending on experience and qualifications for subcontractor.
- Total Income Security: We offer a guaranteed 40-hour weekly compensation block, ensuring stable, competitive income year-round.
- Fast Weekly Pay: Reliable direct deposits every week with Net-7 invoicing terms.
- Full Operational Support: Our office team handles all scheduling and dispatching so you can focus on technical excellence.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- System Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and service various types of residential and commercial HVAC, heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems, as well as gas systems.
- Detailed Reporting: Complete comprehensive, accurate reports upon completion of a visit, outlining work performed, parts used, and any equipments deficiencies identified on site.
- Office & Dispatch Coordination: Communicate updates, issues,



and relevant information promptly with our in-office team to ensure all tasks are executed and resolved in a timely manner without error.
- Safety & Code Adherence: Strictly adhere to company policies, provincial building codes, TSSA regulations, Ontario Gas Utilization Code, manufacturer operating standards and other applicable safety standards, on each job.
- Representing Our Brand: Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, representing iCare to the highest standard of service at all times. The same respect and courtesy is to be extended to our team members, in-office and other field technicians.
- Teamwork & Mentorship: Work collaboratively with field team members and provide constructive technical direction and guidance to other team members, as necessary.

What we are looking for (Skills & Qualifications)

- 5 years plus of HVAC and gas appliances experience; residential installation, service and repair experience with strong technical understanding and exposure to variety of HVAC and gas systems.
- Must have: valid, active TSSA Gas Technician (G2) license or higher, valid ODP card for refrigerant handling, valid WSIB Clearance Certificate.
- Preferred: 313A/D Refrigeration Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Certificate of Qualification.
- Independent subcontractor with your own registered business, or the ability to set up your own business for pay purposes.
- You have your own reliable commercial service vehicle equipped with specialized HVAC/Gas tools.
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean abstract, along with a transparent criminal record.
- An accountable, responsible team-player committed to delivering high customer satisfaction with strong customer service skills, and contributing positively and meaningfully to growth and the overall team environment.
