Vintage Roofing Ltd. is an established roofing company serving Greater Victoria and surrounding communities. We take pride in quality workmanship, strong customer relationships, and maintaining a professional and reliable team.

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in the day-to-day operations of the company and work closely with ownership to continue improving and growing the business.

The Role The General Manager will oversee daily operations and help coordinate our office staff, project managers, roofing crews and subcontractors.

This is a hands-on management position for someone who understands the roofing or construction industry and is comfortable moving between the office, active jobsites, customers and crews.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Vintage Roofing Ltd.
- Manage and support roofing crews, subcontractors, project managers and office staff.
- Coordinate project scheduling, labour requirements, materials and jobsite logistics.
- Monitor active projects to ensure timelines, budgets and quality standards are being met.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and resolve project or service issues when required.
- Review job costing, project performance and operational expenses to help maintain profitability.
- Work closely with ownership on company goals, growth strategies and operational improvements.
- Develop and maintain efficient company procedures, systems and workflows.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training and employee performance management.
- Help ensure company safety procedures and WorkSafeBC requirements are being followed.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and industry partners.
- Support estimating,



quoting and sales activities when required.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and uphold Vintage Roofing's standards for workmanship and service.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
- Provide leadership, accountability and direction across the company.

Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in roofing, construction or a closely related industry is required.
- Previous management, operations or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, jobsite operations and project coordination.
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working both in the office and visiting active jobsites.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are required.
- Highly organized, dependable and accountable.
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices and WorkSafeBC requirements is an asset.
- Experience with roofing estimating, job costing or project-management software is an asset.
