Buchanan Rubber has been operating out of Edmonton for 18 years and supplies many distributors across North America with industrial hoses, fittings, and sheet rubber. We stock and build hoses for many commercial and industrial uses including food grade, petroleum, and chemical applications. We recently expanded our warehouse and have partnered with several companies across North America to expand our offerings of products.

We are looking for a general warehouse associate for a full time position. We work in a quick paced environment, as our goal is same-day shipping for all orders. We cross train for every position in the warehouse to allow for flexibility to help meet that goal.

Our ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, including forklift certification, and a background in oilfield related products. While these are qualities we hope to attract, we are willing to train the right candidates as this is an entry level position. After 3 months, we provide health benefits, enrollment in our bonus program, as well as an annual reimbursement amount towards steel toed footwear

Duties

Pick orders and coordinate with shipper to ensure processing.

Detail and receive incoming goods, and organize stock, and overstock.





Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, detail product, and maintain down-stock levels.

Build hoses to customer specifications including length, coupling methods, strainers, adapters, etc.

Requirements

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds consistently, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, as ability to sit during tasks is limited.

Ability to work independently as well as a group, both supervised and unsupervised.

Forklift experience an asset, but willing to train.

Steel toed footwear required, other safety equipment is provided.

Warehouse experience is an asset.

Oilfield product experience is an asset.

Experience with a crimper is an asset.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
