Job Title: Guest Services / Front Desk Agent

Location: Vancouver, BC

Job Type: Permanent, Part Time

Schedule: Available for two overnight Night Audit shifts weekly, as well assist with on call coverage of all three shifts (AM, PM, Overnight) to primarily assist with Vacation or Sick call coverage.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and guest focused Front Desk Agent -Night Auditor to join our team at a legacy motel in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting guests in an productive, courteous, and professional manner in all functions related to the front office department. This includes check in / check out procedures, guest communication via email, messengers, and telephone, daily cashiering, property walks, room inspections, daily cashiering and reconciliation, billing accuracy, and liaising with our Vendors and Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

· The following skills are required: standing, walking, talking on the telephone, keyboarding, and people skills.

· Assist guests with the process of check-in and check-out.

· Ensure the safety and security of guests and property at all times.

· Provide exemplary service to every guest.

· Answer phone within three (3) rings, route calls, take messages and reservations.

· Handle all incoming reservations.

· Responsible for front desk float, daily paperwork, balancing and deposits.

· Verify folio bill with guest, post necessary charges, adjustments and payments.

· Respond immediately and follow through on all guest requests and complaints.

· Be a Sales Representative. Inform guests about the property and city attractions.

· Have complete knowledge of emergency procedures.

· Act as a liaison between departments by means of phone and/or radio.

· Maintain confidentiality of guest information.

· Adhere to all safety and security policies as trained.

· Report to work at scheduled time in proper uniform.

· Represent the motel in a positive manner at all times.

· Cover audit shifts weekly,



and other shifts as necessary.

Requirements:

- Legal authorization to work in Canada, and proficiency in English
- Ability to attend on-site shifts as scheduled
- Previous Front Desk experience is required
