Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special treatments.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work stations and tools to ensure a safe environment.
- Upsell retail products that complement clients’ hair needs to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments.
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client requests and offering professional advice.
- Stay current with the latest trends, techniques,
and products in the hair industry through ongoing education.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new stylists eager to grow their skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a salon workplace.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
