About the Role

Aster is seeking a Head of US Compliance & Public Policy to lead our US regulatory compliance strategy, government engagement, and public policy activities.

The ideal candidate combines a strong compliance and regulatory background with the ability to engage effectively with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and lead Aster's US compliance and regulatory strategy.
- Advise management on regulatory requirements, compliance risks, licensing, and market-entry considerations.
- Monitor US regulatory and legislative developments affecting digital assets and financial markets.
- Build relationships with regulators, policymakers, government agencies,



and industry associations.
- Develop Aster's US public policy positions and external engagement strategy.
- Translate regulatory developments into practical recommendations for Product, Business, Legal, and Operations teams.
- Represent Aster in regulatory meetings, industry forums, and policy discussions.

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, financial regulation, government affairs, or public policy.
- Strong background in digital assets, fintech, securities, derivatives, trading, or regulated financial services.
- Deep understanding of the US financial regulatory environment.
- Experience engaging with regulators, policymakers, or government agencies.
- Ability to translate complex regulation into practical business recommendations.
- Solid communication, judgment, and external stakeholder-management skills.
