Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heavy Machinery Operator and Class 3 Truck Driver to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment and driving commercial trucks to support our construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site operations, secure transportation of materials, and the successful completion of projects on time.

Responsibilities

- Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling equipment with precision and safety in mind.
- Drive Class 3 trucks to transport materials, equipment, and personnel between job sites and storage facilities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Assist with construction activities including paving, grading, excavation, and site preparation using various heavy equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan daily operations and execute tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, transportation records, and safety inspections for compliance purposes.




- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to create a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.

Skills

- Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators (including Caterpillar models), loaders, graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Valid Class 3 commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of construction processes including paving, grading, excavation, and site development.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment like caterpillar graders or horizontal drills with confidence.
- Excellent understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and transportation.
- Construction experience that demonstrates versatility across multiple types of heavy machinery operation.
