Hastings House is hiring for a Hotel Porter & Groundskeeper position! Located on beautiful Salt Spring Island, Hastings House Country House Hotel is a lovely 5-star Relais & Châteaux hotel set on a 22-acre oceanfront property.

This is a varied, hands-on, guest-facing role focused on providing excellent service and helping maintain the beautiful property.

Responsibilities include:

- Picking up and dropping off guests at seaplanes, ferry terminals, and marinas
- Assisting guests with luggage and escorting them to their suites
- Assisting with weddings and special events, including setting up and removing chairs, tables, and other event items
- Maintaining grounds

The successful candidate is reliable, energetic, friendly, and comfortable working in a guest-facing hospitality environment.



The position requires someone who is comfortable working outdoors and able to lift and move heavy items, including luggage, chairs, tables, and firewood.

A valid driver's licence is required, as the position includes driving guests and operating company vehicles. A professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer service skills are essential.
