What You Will Do

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable individual to serve as a Human Resource Assistant, supporting the day-to-day operations of our Human Resources department and staff team. The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to serving with excellence behind the scenes. This role requires someone who can use their God-given gifts in administration, communication, organization, and relationship building while supporting leadership and staff across the organization.

Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, discretion, and a servant-hearted approach are essential, as this position regularly interacts with staff, leadership, ministry partners, and the broader community.

You Will

Support the Human Resources Director with day-to-day HR administration

Coordinate job advertising and recruitment support

Assist with onboarding and offboarding staff processes

Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records and filing systems

Assist with training coordination and tracking

Prepare grant applications and supporting documentation

Conduct satellite audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures





Support job compliance and policy adherence

Administer 360 surveys and annual planning forms

Assist with updating policies and procedures as required

Participate in regular supervisory meetings, HR team meetings, and chapter-wide staff meetings

Assist with chapter-wide meetings and events

Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in all responsibilities

Comply with SWOYFC policies, procedures, and risk management requirements

Pursue ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Spiritual and ethical maturity

College diploma or equivalent

Excellent relational skills with a professional approach to relationships

Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Proven ability to work independently

Competency in MS Office and electronic communication systems

Working knowledge of various software systems

Critical thinking, problem solving, and sound judgment

Willingness to participate within a team that undertakes a variety of weekly tasks

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Persons Sector)

Salary The salary of this position is determined on a scale based on education and experience, and is funded on a missionary basis requiring the development of a ministry partnership team.
