Job Type: Contractor (eligible to work in British Columbia).

: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate master-level, registered counsellor to join our team at Talking Helps Heal for our new Sparwood office location. The successful candidate will work with clients using a warm and empathetic lens, and should be available for 15+ sessions per week, with the option of increasing to 25+ hours a week. We are looking for someone comfortable counselling adults and youth with varying presentations.

We appreciate if the successful candidate is also open to working with couples or families, but it is not necessary.

As a contractor with our practice, you will have access to team meetings and consultation support, and all marketing and financial tasks will be taken care of by the company. Intakes and bookings will be taken care of by the company, and clients can also self-refer and book through our online system. Working with us gives you the perks of being in private practice (flexibility, autonomy, create your own schedule)



WITHOUT the stress of running a business.

The platform for virtual meetings, paperwork, and billing will also be provided. Payment for contractors will be based on a clinic percentage split- with contractor sessional fees set as recommended by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

The candidate must have valid liability insurance and be able to work as an independent contractor in BC.
