Join MacEwan University as an Administrative Assistant supporting the Associate Vice-President of Indigenous Initiatives & Engagement. This full-time, on-campus role focuses on administration while fostering a collaborative working environment.
The Administrative
Assistant will report to the AVP, primarily managing schedules, communications, and event planning. This role requires discretion, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of Indigenous cultures to support initiatives effectively. You will ensure that administrative tasks are completed efficiently while promoting a welcoming setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee AVP’s calendar and scheduling needs
- Act as first contact for Indigenous Initiatives inquiries
- Organize meetings and produce related documentation
- Coordinate special events and campus activities
- Maintain compliance with reporting requirements Requirements:
- Diploma in related field of study
- At least three years of administrative experience
- Indigenous lived experience desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and ERP tools
- Solid communication and organizational skills Utilize your expertise in administration to advance Indigenous initiatives through MacEwan University.
