Dasro is looking for an IT Project Manager (Senior) - Enterprise Security (Cybersecurity Delivery) for one of its clients in Calgary, AB.

Description Delivers project management for cybersecurity and information security initiatives within our client's Enterprise Security group, a merged function that combines physical security and cybersecurity. Work is cybersecurity-focused day-to-day, with periodic touchpoints into physical security counterparts. Runs an independent portfolio of projects — a mix of in-flight initiatives inherited from the department lead and net-new work not yet scoped — with no direct reports. Coordinates delivery teams, vendors, and system integrator partners primarily from a procurement and delivery-coordination standpoint. Initiatives include penetration testing projects and broader security program deliverables, averaging ~$500K in combined CapEx/OpEx per project, with all targeted for completion by year-end 2026.

Responsibilities

- Run delivery on cybersecurity and information-security initiatives inside the Enterprise Security group, coordinating periodic touchpoints into physical security counterparts on initiatives that span both.
- Own a portfolio of individual projects independently without direct reports, managing whether assigned delivery teams and vendors produce on schedule.




- Engage system integrators and strategic vendor partners primarily from a procurement and delivery-coordination standpoint rather than hands-on integration.
- Manage projects already in flight as well as net-new initiatives that need to be scoped or kicked off, targeting closeout by year-end 2026.
- Provide advisory and hands-on delivery management across initiatives averaging roughly $500K in combined CapEx/OpEx.
- Coordinate delivery tracking using flexible PM tooling such as Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a collaborative working style within a fast-paced delivery workplace.

Minimum Qualifications

- 8+ years of IT or technology project delivery experience (8–9 years is acceptable).
- Direct hands-on project delivery experience on cybersecurity, information security, or security-adjacent initiatives (generic enterprise IT alone does not qualify).
- Demonstrated ability to run project delivery independently without a supporting project management team or direct reports.
- Experience coordinating vendors and system integrators from a procurement and delivery standpoint.
- University degree in a relevant discipline.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship.
- Currently located within commutable distance to Calgary, AB at candidate's own expense.

Preferred Qualifications

- PMP or PRINCE2 certification (differentiator, not required).
- GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) background, particularly when paired with penetration testing project delivery experience.
- Prior advisory-style project management delivered specifically on cybersecurity engagements.
- Organizational Change Management (OCM) or communications-led delivery experience (specifically for the second vacancy).
- Energy or utilities sector experience.
