Inside Sales and Design (12-month Maternity Leave)

Seagull Cabinets is a kitchen and bathroom cabinet supplier located in Dartmouth, NS.

We offer wholesale distribution throughout Atlantic Canada, as well as Retail Direct to Consumer in HRM, including installation. We have been operating for almost 10 years and sell over 150 kitchens annually. We are proud to offer a full range of quality cabinets at affordable prices with strong turnaround times and exceptional East Coast service The Inside Sales and Design position will work closely with other team members in building strong relationships and delivering excellent service to our customers.

You are willing and able to learn, love interacting with people, are well organized, can multi-task and have great attention to detail.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Communicating regularly with our customers via email and telephone.

· Engaging kitchen customers and using our 20/20 design software to provide creative designs, product options and quotes.

· Entering estimates, orders, shipping details into Quickbooks Online.

· Following up on outstanding orders and specific customer requests, including liaising with other team members, to respond to customer expectations/inquiries on delivery details.

· Handling customer claims for damaged or missing items.

Preferred Qualifications:





· 1-2+ years of experience working in a sales-driven workplace.

· Accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent customer service skills

· Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills

· The desire and ability to learn

· Knowledge of and experience with Kitchen and Bathroom cabinets

· Knowledge of and experience with Kitchen design software experience would be considered an asset (e.g. 20/20; AutoCAD)

· Knowledge of and experience with social media and/or digital marketing would be considered an asset

· Experience interpreting floorplans and ability to read sketches and has familiarity with spatial planning

· Knowledge of the national building code
