Role Description This full-time Insurance Broker role is a hybrid position based in Woodbridge, ON, with flexibility for some work from home.

The Insurance

Broker will advise clients on appropriate insurance coverage, compare policies from various insurers, and prepare quotes and proposals that meet client needs and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing risk profiles, processing policy applications, renewals, and changes, and responding promptly to client inquiries and claims-related questions. The role requires building and maintaining strong client relationships, conducting periodic coverage reviews, and staying current on industry products, regulations, and market trends.





The Insurance

Broker will collaborate with internal colleagues and external insurance partners to ensure accurate documentation and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with the ability to interpret policy terms, coverage options, and underwriting requirements.
- Solid understanding of Finance and related concepts to advise clients on cost, value, and long-term risk management implications.
- Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage client expectations professionally.
- Relevant provincial insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain) and experience working in a brokerage or similar environment.
- Proficiency with insurance management systems and standard office software; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid workplace, balancing in-office collaboration in Woodbridge, ON with independent remote work.
- Post-secondary education in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is an asset.
