Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Broker role based in Edmonton, AB.

The Insurance

Broker will work directly with clients to assess their insurance needs, provide recommendations, and place appropriate coverage across personal and commercial lines. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, processing policy changes, renewals, and cancellations, and ensuring accurate documentation in brokerage systems. The role involves responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and liaising with insurance carriers to secure competitive terms and timely approvals.





The Insurance

Broker will also contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Minimum Level 1 general insurance license is required.
- Candidates with knowledge of EPIC & ARS will be given priority.

- Strong knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with experience advising clients on coverage options.
- Understanding of Finance principles and Retirement Planning to support clients with broader risk and financial protection needs.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and timely follow-up.
- Provincial insurance broker license (or eligibility to obtain) in Alberta; licensing in Saskatchewan and Manitoba is an asset.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with brokerage management systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment and manage multiple client priorities effectively.
- Prior experience in a general insurance brokerage or related financial services environment is preferred.
