From our local facility in Port Kells, Surrey, we design, manufacture, and market architectural lighting products. This role supports the manufacturing facilities by ensuring the daily cleanliness of the warehouse and production areas, disposal of operations waste and recycling amongst other daily duties.

This role is a physical and hands-on role which requires a high degree of organizational skill and to the work independently.

We are looking for a flexible, motivated Inventory Associate with a can-do attitude to join our growing team. As an Inventory Associate, you will be in a physical and hands-on role which requires a high degree of communication and attention to detail. You will be required to work independently and meet deadlines in accordance with warehouse operations.

Your key responsibilities will include accuracy in counts, consistent problem solving, and effective root-cause analysis to further increase our inventory accuracy. This is a full-time permanent position in a stable and growing organization. Our facility is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

THE ROLE:

- Cycle Counting Activities.
- Investigation of inventory discrepancies.
- Identifying Contributing factors to Inventory Inaccuracies.
- Identifying Process Improvement opportunities.
- Coaching warehouse staff on best-in-class inventory accuracy practices.
- Monitoring Relevant Reports.




- Making the most of training and development opportunities.
- Being involved in Continuous Improvement Activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A minimum of 2 years of warehouse inventory control experience.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Organized, detail oriented, dependable, and reliable.
- An ability to self-motivate and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of ERP (Syteline preferred).
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and Management.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Ability to function in an ever-changing work environment.
- A team player capable of interacting professionally with production, quality, and finance departments.
- Willingness to be flexible and able to support warehouse with other duties that may be assigned.
- Knowledge on safe lifting and operation of machinery.
- Working knowledge of, or familiarity with quality control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset.
- Experience in receiving & material handling within a Manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Ability to operate a forklift is an asset.
