Acoustical and Total Cleaning Services Co is a completely diversified janitorial company in Edmonton, AB. In our 43 years in business we have begun offering a wide array of services to a variety of client types across Alberta, B.C., and Saskatchewan. We are looking for talented, reliable, and hardworking staff to join our organization.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the supervisor of staff, maintaining contact with clients, and cleaning our facilities to ensure a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors.

Duties, include but are not limited to:

- Monitor team performance
- Perform weekly inspections on site, equipment, and vehicles if necessary
- Complete PSI documentations, tool box meetings, emergency drills as required
- Train new employees and complete performance reviews
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors

- Autoscrubbing as necessary

- Buff floors
- Strip and wax flooring as needed

- Carpet cleaning as required

- Window cleaning as required

- Dust and wipe blinds

- Steam cleaning furniture
- Cleaning of light fixtures, replacing bulbs, cleaning diffusers, and air vents
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Clean and disinfect restrooms

- Restock supplies as needed
- Assist with setting up meeting rooms and event spaces
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Equipment Knowledge: Previous use of the following equipment required:

-autoscrubber

-burnisher/buffer

-wet vacuum

-dry vacuum





-Ninja carpet cleaner

-cimex carpet cleaner

- pressure washers

Cleaning Skills:

- stripping and waxing flooring - vct, lino, marmoleum,

-scrubbing tile - ceramic, quarry, lvp, -scrubbing concrete
- window washing using t-bar and squeegee
- carpet cleaning using an extractor machine

-carpet cleaning using an encapsulation machine

Tickets Required:

- WHMIS

- CSTS

-First Aid
- Aerial Work Platform Safety (non mandatory)

- Fall Protection (non mandatory)

Position Skills:

- Minimum 3 years previous experience as a supervisor in commercial cleaning
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in the janitorial industry
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

- Strong time management skills
- Able to lead a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

-Excellent communication skills with crew and manager
- Can pass criminal record check
- Can provide clear drivers abstract

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
