Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and disinfected regularly to promote health and safety standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Handle waste disposal responsibly by emptying trash bins and recycling containers in accordance with company policies
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance issues or areas needing special attention




- Follow safety procedures diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with facilities maintenance teams to report repairs or equipment malfunctions promptly

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial services, preferably within commercial or institutional settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and consistency
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance and the ability to assist with minor upkeep tasks when needed
