Duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing materials and equipment on-site
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary tools or supplies
- Support tradespeople by holding materials, mixing substances, or operating basic tools under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Perform general site maintenance including trash removal, fencing, and minor repairs as needed
- Help with site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Carry out other manual tasks assigned by supervisors to keep projects on schedule
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Robust work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in construction or industrial settings is preferred
- Reliable transportation to get to and from job sites
- Prior experience in general labour or construction is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
