Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Labourer / Cement Pump Trainee to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in oil and gas heavy equipment operation within the oilfield services sector. The role involves assisting with various site tasks, supporting cement pumping operations, and gaining valuable experience. We will provide class 1 or class 3 driver training to the right individuals.
No experience necessary, we will provide all necessary training.
Must have a non GDL class 5 drivers licence with clean drivers abstract.
Duties
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of cement pumping equipment under supervision
- Operate hand tools, power tools,
and basic heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to support crew activities.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for all team members
Experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems or construction tools is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Previous experience in O&G; fields is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
