Duties
- Lead and supervise a crew responsible for landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, and seasonal cleanups
- Implement horticultural best practices to maintain healthy lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower bed
- Monitor crew performance to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
- Assist with soft scape projects such as installing current landscape plantings and enhance existing installations
- Perform routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring attention or repair
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or leadership experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture settings
- Strong knowledge in gardening techniques, and general landscape care practices
- Experience with horticulture principles including plant health, pruning, fertilization, and pest management
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate with clients or project managers
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions throughout the day
