Eye Nine Optometry is a private Optometric practice in West Edmonton at 4320 199st NW, we are looking for a full-time Licensed Optician or Certified Optometric Assistant with experience in front-end administration, pretesting and lab work. We are hoping for a positive and energetic new team member who is already cross trained or eager to learn all aspects of the office. Exact wage and schedule will be determined based on level of experience.

Essential qualities include

- Experience in optical dispensing and lab tasks.
- Balanced knowledge of fashion and optical theory to help patients choose correct eyewear.
- Front-end administration and patient management.
- Efficiency and excellent organizational skills, capable to multitask and problem solve in a busy environment.
- Prior cross training or willing and enthusiastic to learn.
- Ease with learning computer software.

At Eye Nine, we are a full service clinic with multiple doctors on staff. We run a busy schedule that includes full eye exams for all ages,



visual fields, contact lens trainings and IRPL treatments. Your responsibilities will be managing the full patient experience, from the initial phone call to book, through check-in, pretest, frame selection, insurance billing and dispensing. Some behind the scenes tasks will include ordering contact lenses and phone and text recalls.

We offer same day edging, so lab experience will set you above the rest!
