Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable Line Cook to join our Korean restaurant kitchen team. The position involves preparing and cooking traditional Korean dishes and working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.

Duties

- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal results
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, productive food service during busy hours
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene practices
- Support the overall operation of the kitchen by restocking supplies and assisting with meal assembly

Qualifications

- Strong spoken Korean and the ability to read Korean are required for this position,



as the Line Cook must follow Korean-language recipes and kitchen instructions and communicate effectively with Korean-speaking kitchen staffs
- Previous line cook or Korean restaurant kitchen experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with serving protocols and customer service principles is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly in a dynamic kitchen environment
