Line Cook / Prep Cook - iQ FOOD CO.

Overview iQ is looking for reliable, motivated Line Cooks / Prep Cooks to join our Back of House team.

Our BOH team plays an significant role in the overall guest experience. From prep and portioning to quality, accuracy and speed during service, we rely on our kitchen team to consistently deliver food we’re proud to serve.

We are currently hiring for both Full-Time and Part-Time positions.

What You’ll Do

- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to iQ recipes, portion standards and specifications.
- Complete daily prep accurately and efficiently based on production needs.
- Prepare and assemble menu items during service with a focus on quality, accuracy and speed.
- Take pride in food presentation and understand how BOH execution contributes directly to the guest experience.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, FIFO and food safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked workstation throughout your shift.
- Assist with receiving, stocking and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Help minimize food waste through accurate prep, portioning and proper product handling.
- Support opening,



closing and cleaning procedures as required.
- Communicate with the Kitchen Manager and team regarding prep levels, shortages and operational needs.
- Work collaboratively with both BOH and FOH team members to ensure smooth service and a positive experience for our guests.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous restaurant, kitchen or food-preparation experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and portion standards.
- Understanding of food safety and proper food-handling practices.
- Reliable, organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Takes pride in food quality, cleanliness and providing a great guest experience.
- Flexible availability is an asset.
