About the Role:

We’re seeking highly skilled Loader Operators to work in a fast paced granite quarry in Bayside, NB.

The ideal candidate has extensive loader operating skills, takes pride in their work, and can work independently or with a team to support aggregate stockpiling and loading operations and maintain a secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate loaders (CAT 988 and Komatsu WA600 sized) for stockpiling, material transfer, and shiploading operations.
- Operate large wheel loaders safely and efficiently in a high-paced environment
- Stockpile material according to specifications to reduce segregation.
- Load aggregate into hoppers safely and efficiently to maintain optimum average tonnes per hour
- Perform pre and post operational inspections and basic equipment care
- Work closely with the crew to support continuous operations

Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of larger sized loader operation
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-demand setting




- Ability to work 12 hours days Monday to Friday and flexible hours as required
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

- Work in varying weather conditions and at different elevations.
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels and dusty work environment.
- Physically active role requiring climbing up and down ladder to machine cab.
- Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety vests, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
- Shifts are 12 hours 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday but can vary in time based on ship schedules
- Must be able to commute to Bayside, NB. At this time, we are not hiring out of town workers for this position.
