Position Summary The Locker Room Attendant & Cleaner plays a key role in delivering a premium member experience at the Winnipeg Winter Club. This position ensures the cleanliness, comfort, and safety of the locker room and other assigned areas of the Club. The attendant provides friendly and attentive service, maintains supplies, and helps create a welcoming atmosphere where members feel valued.

Key Responsibilities

Member Service & Hospitality

- Welcome and engage with members to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
- Ensure towels and toiletries are available
- Provide coffee and beverage service in the locker room with professionalism and courtesy.
- Coordinate locker assignments and respond to member requests.

Housekeeping & Cleaning

- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the locker room, including showers, washrooms, vanities, lockers, and lounge areas.
- Perform cleaning duties in other areas of the facility as assigned and as needed (hallways, restrooms, lounges, etc.).
- Launder, fold, and stock towels for member use.
- Restock toiletries, amenities, and cleaning supplies as needed.

Operations & Safety

- Conduct regular walk-throughs to monitor cleanliness, safety, and supply levels.
- Report maintenance, safety, or member concerns promptly to the Facilities Department.
- Follow all Club health, safety, and cleaning protocols.





Qualifications

- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable interacting with members in a private-club environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and stock supplies.
- Must be age 18+
- Secure Serving Manitoba training course will be provided upon hire.
