South/Southwest Calgary | Consistent Day & Evening Shifts Available

Concierge Care Calgary is currently seeking experienced male Health Care Aides to provide one-on-one private home care for a male client located on the southwest outskirts of Calgary.

Due to the personal nature of the care being provided and the client's request for male caregivers, male HCAs are required for this particular assignment.

Applicants must be registered with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta and have completed Medication Administration training.

Available Shifts

We are currently staffing consistent shifts 7 days per week, including weekends:

- Day Shift: 6:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Evening Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

We are looking for multiple HCAs to help build a consistent care team for this client. Please indicate in your application which days of the week you are available and whether you are interested in day shifts, evening shifts, or both.

Client Location: Southwest outskirts of Calgary

Pay: Starting at $20 per hour (mileage will also be paid)

The Opportunity

We are looking for compassionate, dependable and experienced male HCAs who enjoy working independently and providing personalized care in a client's home.

Because this client lives on the southwest outskirts of Calgary,



this opportunity would be particularly well suited to someone who lives in south or southwest Calgary and has reliable transportation.

What You'll Do

As an HCA with Concierge Care Calgary, your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting with activities of daily living, including personal care, hygiene and dressing
- Supporting safe mobility and transfers
- Providing medication assistance within your scope and training
- Preparing simple meals as required
- Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Accompanying the client to appointments, errands or outings
- Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition
- Completing required care documentation
- Providing respectful, professional and client-centred one-on-one care

Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must have

- Current registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
- Recognized Health Care Aide certificate
- Medication Administration certification/training
- Minimum 3 months of paid caregiving experience
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel to the southwest outskirts of Calgary
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a private home-care environment
- Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to scheduled client visits

- Are not a certified Health Care Aide




- Are not currently registered with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
- Have not completed Medication Administration training
- Do not have a valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Are unable to reliably travel to southwest Calgary
- Are seeking a facility-based position
