Toromont Cat is looking for a Manager, IT Endpoint Engineering & Operations to join our team! The Manager, IT Endpoint Engineering & Operations is a hands-on technical leadership role accountable for the engineering, strategy, and operational excellence of Toromont's endpoint and end-user technology ecosystem across the entire organization. This role owns the full technology stack that powers how employees work: endpoint fleet engineering (Intune, SCCM/MECM, Autopilot), VDI strategy, application packaging, endpoint security co-ownership, identity and device trust, meeting room and collaboration technology, and the organization's ITSM platform and CMDB.

The Manager leads a team of technical engineers, elevating the function from a legacy, support-driven model into a proactive, modernization-focused engineering discipline that defines standards for the broader IT organization to execute against. This is a change-agent role: the successful candidate will bring a demonstrated track record of transforming complacent or reactive technical teams into high-performing, engineering-minded organizations, and will be measured on modernization outcomes, automation maturity, and technology adoption — not ticket volume or support metrics.
