Role Description The Managing Broker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Montreal, QC. The individual in this role oversees daily brokerage operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, professional standards, and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring real estate brokers, reviewing and approving transactions, contracts, and listing agreements, and providing guidance on complex deals and risk management.

The Managing

Broker also supports recruitment and onboarding of brokers, leads regular training sessions, and promotes a culture of ethical practice and customer-centric service. In addition, this role collaborates with leadership on business development initiatives,



performance metrics, and strategic planning to strengthen the office’s presence in the Montreal real estate market.

Qualifications

- Extensive experience in residential and/or commercial real estate brokerage and transaction management.
- Strong leadership, team supervision, and mentoring skills to support brokers’ skilled growth.
- In-depth knowledge of Québec real estate laws, regulations, and ethical standards, with proven compliance oversight experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle complex client and broker situations.
- Experience in office operations, performance management, and business development within a brokerage environment.
- Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Valid Québec real estate broker licence (chartered AEO or equivalent managing broker qualification), or eligibility to obtain it.
- Proficiency with real estate CRM systems, listing platforms, and standard office software tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in high-paced, dynamic environments.
- Fluency in English; professional proficiency in French is highly beneficial for the Montréal market.
