Duties

- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare different types of meat according to specifications and quality standards
- Ensure all meat products are handled, stored, and packaged in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist customers with selecting cuts of meat, providing knowledgeable recommendations and excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, tools, and equipment in accordance with health guidelines
- Label products accurately, including weight, price, and expiration date information
- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of low supplies or quality concerns




- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service delivery

Qualifications

- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery, is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food handling procedures
- Robust understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food packaging is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving food industry practices
