Mitey Titan Industries Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafter to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will have strong SolidWorks experience and be comfortable producing detailed manufacturing drawings for mechanical equipment and fabricated assemblies.

This position is well suited to someone who understands how equipment is actually fabricated, machined, assembled, and installed—not just how to create a 3D model.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and revise 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare fabrication, machining, assembly, and general arrangement drawings.
- Produce accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawing packages for manufacturing.
- Develop drawings from engineering concepts, sketches, existing equipment, and field measurements.
- Update and modify existing equipment designs and drawings.
- Ensure drawings include appropriate dimensions, tolerances, weld details, materials, and manufacturing information.
- Work closely with Engineering, Fabrication, Machining, Hydraulics, Purchasing, and Assembly personnel.
- Review designs for manufacturability and identify potential fabrication or assembly issues before drawings are released.
- Maintain drawing revisions and ensure documentation is accurate and properly controlled.
- Assist with equipment measurements and verification of existing components when required.
- Support ongoing projects and respond to drawing revisions required during manufacturing and assembly.

Qualifications

- Strong working experience with SolidWorks is required.




- Previous experience as a Mechanical Drafter, CAD Technologist, Mechanical Designer, or similar position.
- Experience creating detailed fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
- Good understanding of mechanical assemblies, structural steel fabrication, machining, and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience working with BOMs, drawing revisions, and document control.
- Robust understanding of dimensional tolerancing and manufacturing practices.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with engineering and shop personnel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:

- Oilfield or heavy industrial equipment
- Hydraulic equipment and systems
- Structural steel and welded assemblies
- Machined components
- Equipment reverse engineering and field measurements
- SolidWorks PDM or similar drawing/document management systems

What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with both engineers and tradespeople. The ideal candidate understands that good drafting goes beyond producing drawings—the drawings must provide the shop with clear, accurate information to successfully manufacture and assemble the equipment.

This is an opportunity to work on a variety of custom mechanical and industrial equipment projects in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
