Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Mobile Kinesiologist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver personalized rehabilitation services directly to patients in various settings, including are care homes, community facilities, and patients' homes. Your expertise will help improve mobility, manage pain, and promote overall wellness through tailored exercise programs and therapeutic interventions.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while working in a flexible, mobile environment that values proactive care and patient-centered service. Will work in conjunction with a phsyiotherapist and receive full administrative support.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical function, mobility, and pain levels to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver individualized therapeutic exercise programs designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and functional movement (including fall prevention) . A large focus on support for the geriatric or high needs population. Experience with this complex population an asset.
- Provide education on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and activity modifications to support long-term health outcomes.
- Collaborate with a healthcare team consisting of two physiotherapists, a registered massage therapist, and an athletic therapist.



All of which serve as referral sources for new patients.
- Utilize electronic medical records efficiently to document assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage some scheduling of patient visits, however, full-time administartive support available.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Kinesiologist with relevant credentials.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, acute care procedures, and case management principles.
- Proficiency with computer operation and software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Outlook; experience with electronic medical records is essential (Jane).
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with patients of all ages—including geriatrics—and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple appointments and locations.
- Experience in patient care environments emphasizing customer service excellence and compassionate support.
- Necessary insurance coverage.
