Ancaster Montessori School est. 1984, is seeking a MACTE or AMI accredited Montessori Casa teacher to begin in September.

This is a full-time, contract position, renewable year to year.

Contracted hours of work: 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday to Friday, September to June as per our school calendar.

Attendance also at pre-planned school events/meetings/open houses on occasional weekends/evenings. Summers off (work available upon request).

Qualifications/Requirements

- Montessori Casa Teaching Diploma (MACTE accredited training)
- Experience working with children ages 3-5 in a Montessori environment
- Reliable attendance
- A love of children and Montessori approach to learning
- Effective behaviour management
- Positive, warm approach
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) in English
- Current First Aid + CPR training Level C
- Criminal reference check
- Up to date Immunizations & TB test
- Fluency in spoken French is an asset but not required
