We are looking for a Software Architect for one of our clients based in Montreal.

Missions The project involves launching new products and revamping the existing system in the Payments & Cash Management department. The objective is to develop cutting-edge solutions to meet the sector's evolving needs. The project aims to expand the Payments and Cash Management product portfolio, leveraging Paris's significant lead and working closely with them. The focus will be on extensive Business Intelligence integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and lead developer teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
- Apply banking domain knowledge, particularly in Payments or Cash Management, to design relevant architectures.




- Utilize Java expertise to guide development processes and architectural decisions.
- Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
- Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Maintain effective communication with international teams, particularly in India, to coordinate efforts and deliver integrated solutions.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory

- Proven experience as a software developer, with significant time spent in Java development.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of managing projects from A to Z.
- Excellent understanding of security practices in software development.
- Strong collaborative skills to work with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.

Nice to Have

- Extensive experience in the banking sector, specifically in Payments or Cash Management.

LANGUAGES

Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is essential; candidates must be comfortable working primarily in English.
