We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team at our Vancouver office. As a Navigator, you will work collaboratively and supportively with clients, helping them achieve their goals of living independently.

About Us The IFRC Society is a non-profit organization that supports people with disabilities across British Columbia. Our clients receive individualized funding, enabling them to live independently and employ Personal Support Attendants/Aides to assist with daily living tasks.

By gaining a deep understanding of the IFRC’s supports, services, and funding programs, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with funding applications, recruitment, and overcoming challenges they face as private employers. Extensive training and ongoing support will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Be the first point of contact for inquiries, promoting our services and supporting new and existing clients with funding programs.
- Communicate effectively in English, demonstrating strong written and verbal skills, including professional business correspondence.
- Relay and gather information accurately and concisely, and log updates into the IFRC Case Management System in a detailed, clear manner.




- Assist with administrative projects as part of your learning process.
- Conduct telephone communications on behalf of clients.
- Support clients with HR-related tasks, including interviewing applicants on their behalf.
- Attend occasional out-of-office meetings with clients.
- Work effectively both as a team member and independently.

Position Details

- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Location: 1200 W 73rd Ave #1100, Vancouver, BC V6P 6G5
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
- Wage: 23.00 to 26.00 (based on experience)

Please Note: This is a hybrid position. Following the successful completion of training, you will have the opportunity to work both from home and in the office.

Required Skills and Proficiencies

- College Diploma required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word and Outlook
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Flexibility and adaptability

Experience

- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative setting is required.

References

- Two (2) professional and one (1) character reference (e.g., landlord, former instructor) will be required prior to hire.
