: Reporting to the Program Manager, the Unit Coordinator will be responsible for the day to day operations and patient flow of the Unit. They will facilitate the use of critical thinking skills by the RN and LPN staff as they are fostered to work to their full scope of practice.

Experience
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working acute and long term care.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Current CNA certification in Gerontology
- Current CPR certification
Competencies
- Communication skills
- Intermediate - Computer skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Knowledge in nursing process
- Knowledge in change management
