Duties

- Safely operate your own commercial truck to transport freight across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of your vehicle and heavy equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any route adjustments
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to minimize downtime during trips




- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight details, and delivery documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) suitable for operating heavy trucks
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor vehicle issues on the road
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, clients, and team members effectively
