Responsibilities

- Support the painting team by preparing surfaces through cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Assist with mixing paints and applying primers under supervision to achieve smooth finishes.
- Handle various hand tools and power tools safely for surface preparation and painting tasks.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and ensure accurate application of paint or coatings.
- Help with rigging and scaffolding setup to access high or hard-to-reach areas securely.
- Maintain a clean workspace by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.




- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards in residential, commercial, restoration, or industrial settings.

Requirements

- Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites is highly preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings related to painting projects.
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, caulking techniques, and rigging procedures.
- Experience with various types of painting including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial coatings.
- Robust communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently on multiple projects.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials safely, and work at heights using scaffolding or ladders.
