Briar Hill Children’s Programs is a non-profit, licensed child care program providing exceptional care to children in our Out of School Care programs. We have been a valued part of the community for over 40 years and work in close partnerships with our schools.

We are looking for a motivated, experienced and enthusiastic educator to complete our team at our Briar Hill location. We are able to offer straights shifts, full-time and part-time positions, competitive wages, comprehensive health benefits and a positive, healthy work environment.

The position is 6 hours/day; 11:30-5:30pm, daily. Flexibility to work longer hours on non-school days is an asset but not required.

To be eligible for this position, you must have a Level 1, 2, or 3 Childcare Certificate.

The roles and responsibilities of the successful applicant are;

- Provide effective supervision of the children
- Build meaningful relationships with the families, staff, school and management team
- Provide and implement programming based on the needs, interests and abilities of the children
- Communicate with the children, families, staff and our management team on a daily basis
- Model appropriate interactions and conflict resolution
- Continue to take part in continuous learning and professional development opportunities in an effort to maintain current best practices
- Support the set up and take down of our portable program spaces
