Position Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Employee to support the internal and external flow of goods. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, transporting, and administrating materials, as well as supporting shipping activities and maintaining logistics equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Goods Receiving & Storage
- Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders, packing lists, and freight documents
- Inspect materials, parts, tools, and equipment for damage, quality, and accuracy
- Label and code project-related goods using internal systems and documentation
- Determine appropriate storage locations based on turnover and FIFO principles
- Ensure proper storage in racks and designated warehouse areas
Order Picking & Issuing
- Replenish part packs and warehouse stock levels
- Supply internal departments with required materials and parts
- Pick materials using pick lists, work orders, or system instructions
- Operate forklift trucks, pallet trucks, and stackers safely
- Identify shortages and report them to the Team Leader
- Coordinate with Quality Engineering for product release
- Prepare picked items for shipment and external collection
Inventory & Administration
- Perform cycle counts and inventory checks
- Accurately record all goods movements in the ERP/logistics system
- Maintain and archive logistics documentation
- Report discrepancies to Purchasing and/or Production
Shipping & Transport
- Perform various shipping tasks
- Prepare waybills and packing lists
- Organize domestic and international transport with carriers
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and propose process improvements within logistics operations
- Contribute to the implementation and documentation of improvements
- Support communication and training on updated processes
Team Support
- Act as a point of contact for logistics-related questions
- Support and guide colleagues when needed
Requirements
- Knowledge of logistics processes and warehouse operations
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with internal procedures and safety regulations
- Valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate
- Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
