Requirements The Learning Commons is looking to hire peer tutors for subjects as necessary. In general, we do not hire tutors for introductory courses, nor subject areas that our support specialists can cover adequately (math, science, writing).

The successful candidate will have completed a variety of courses in their subject area at NWP, and must...

- Be currently registered as a student at NWP.
- Have achieved a minimum grade of 75% in any course they plan to tutor.
- Have excellent mentoring, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Students hired as peer tutors will have a flexible schedule, and may work up to 17.5 hours per week.
