Job Summary

Buffer Valley Industries is looking for a full time worker to take on a new position of Manufacturing Technician. The accepted applicant will be responsible for a wide selection of duties and responsibilities involved with our plastic and steel manufacturing line.We are a manufacturer of poly grain bins and other farming equipment. We also service a range of commercial and industrial companies with custom parts.

We do most of our manufacturing in house from steel fabrication, design, plastics forming and much more. We also tend a 600 acre grain farm from spring till fall.

Duties Include:-

Managing the entire Rotational Molding process (we provide training)-

Steel Fabrication (Welding, CNC Plasma, Brake, Shear, Press, Ironworker, Roller Table- Assembly of Products (Use of power hand tools such as a router, drills, impact wrench, skill saw, jigsaw)-

Using Heavy Equipment (Tractor with Implement, Combine, Skid-Steer, Forklift,



Grain Truck)-

Running Plastics Recycling Equipment (Pulverizer, Granulator, Shredder)-

Keeping a Clean and Ordered WorkspaceWorkplace Essentials:-

Heavy Lifting Required-

Able to Work in a Hot Workplace-

Attention to Detail-

Critical Thinking-

Able to Work Alone and Efficiently-

Self-Motivated-

Work Safely Skills: (Not Required, But Are Considered an Asset)-

Experience in Assembly-

Experience with the Tools listed Above- Drivers License-

Experience with Skid-Steer or Forklift-

Certifications an asset but not required (Welding, Skid-Steer, Forklift)
