We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Print Production Specialist to join our print shop team. The successful candidate will assist customers with their printing needs while also handling day-to-day production, finishing, and order preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Answer customer questions and help determine the best printing options for their needs.
- Receive and process print orders in person, by phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Prepare files for printing and check documents for basic errors such as sizing, pages, orientation, and print quality.
- Operate digital printing and finishing equipment.
- Print flyers, business cards, posters, booklets, labels, banners, and other print products.
- Perform finishing work including cutting, folding, binding, laminating, stapling, and packaging.
- Prepare completed orders for customer pickup or delivery.
- Provide basic price estimates and communicate pricing and turnaround times to customers.
- Keep track of orders and ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized production and customer-service area.
- Monitor paper, ink/toner, and other supplies and notify management when supplies are low.




- Follow proper procedures for operating and maintaining printing equipment.
- Assist with other duties around the print shop as required.

Qualifications

- Customer service experience is an asset.
- Previous printing, production, or graphic design experience is an asset but not required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with files such as PDF, Word, and image files.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify printing errors.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical work, including lifting and moving paper and finished orders.
- Willingness to learn printing equipment and production procedures.

Pay: Based on experience
