ProcessingTechnicianLocation: WinnipegStatus: Full-timeReports to: Production ManagerHours: Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 530 pmReporting to the Production Supervisor, our ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, displays problem-solving and decision-making abilities, has excellent organizational skills and can maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast paced and changing work environment.Key Responsibilities:Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in a full-scale production environment.Conduct programs of sampling, weighing and analysis to maintain quality standards of products.Responsible for escalating issues to shift lead/supervisorResponsible for general housekeeping of production area.Responsible for completion of startup/cleaning checklistsEnsure accurate information and data are being documented throughout the day to day routineCollaborate with shift lead/supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed for the shiftCleaning and maintenance of production stationsAdherence to health and safety policiesEscalate quality deviations or production constraints to shift lead/supervisor Other duties as may be required.Qualifications:Strong sense of work quality and safety;Effortlessly takes direction and follows through on tasks;Capable of working both independently and on a team;Positive communication skills both written and verbal;Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills;Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;Experience in food manufacturing and/or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment would be considered an asset;Previous production experience would be considered an asset;Keen eye for detail;Ability to meeting physical demands including reaching, bending, walking, standing and performing repetitive work;Flexibility to work shift work as required.Thank you for your interest in Organigram.Organigram is an equal opportunity employer.
