Produce Associate

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Produce Associate to join our team. You'll keep our produce section fresh, well-stocked, and appealing to customers while providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

- Stock, rotate, and merchandise fresh fruits and vegetables

- Inspect produce for quality and freshness; remove damaged or spoiled items

- Trim, cut, and prep produce (fruit trays, vegetable platters, pre-cut items) using proper knife techniques

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe produce department

- Assist customers with product questions and recommendations

- Follow food safety and sanitation standards

- Manage inventory and communicate stock needs

Requirements

- Prior knife skills required — comfortable and safe using produce knives for cutting, slicing, and trimming

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Good communication and customer service skills

- Flexible availability, including weekends/holidays

- Food handler's certification a plus

Pay: $15.00-$16.50 per hour
