Position Summary: Full-time position, responsible for supporting new product introduction, drawing creation through guided design, production troubleshooting, assisting with R&D; projects, and facilitating communication between Engineering and Production Departments. Supports design and production teams through hands on development trials, including manufacturing and testing for product performance.

Major Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and/or reports including but not limited to, bills of material, set-up sheets, work instructions, and winding specifications
- Design and prepare detailed parametric 3D models and assemblies with final drawings and specifications for engineering projects from observation, measurements, sketches, and standards with SolidWorks for internal and external customers
- Creation and execution of Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s), Deviations, and New Product ECO Workflows
- Prepare and maintain up to date production procedures, work instructions, and visual aids.
- Liaison between Engineering and Production departments
- Assist with Product Engineering projects aligned with Polycast’ strategic goals




- Conduct and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in the analysis of failure modes and collaborate on solutions
- Familiarization with existing Polycast products, industry standards, and product applications
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate of an accredited Engineering or Technology program in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent. Valid registration with EGM or CTTAM.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Solid Works and AutoCAD and experience with ERP systems
- Experience with product development processes in Documentation, Verification and Validation Plans and Reports
- Results driven, detail oriented, able to search and track down information as required to support development activities and work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and root cause analysis problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
- Understanding of LEAN principles

Working Conditions:

- Day time shift with overtime as required
- Maintain standing and/or sitting positions for extended periods of time
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
- Use of PPE, including safety glasses and steel toe boots
