Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria is expanding wholesale distribution through Piatto@Home, producing stone-fired, vacuum-packed Neapolitan pizzas, frozen pizza dough, fresh pasta and other products for retailers across the province.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Food Production Manager to oversee facility operations at our Mount Pearl location. This role is responsible for maintaining quality control, managing production schedules, driving process efficiency, and leading a manufacturing team in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Management: Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demand while maintaining efficiency.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict quality control standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a safety-first workplace culture.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise production staff to ensure adherence to operational standards and company values.
- Process Improvement: Monitor metrics, analyze operational data, and execute continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Streamline inventory, assembly, and supply chain workflows.




- Problem Solving: Identify operational bottlenecks, troubleshoot equipment or workflow issues, and implement swift corrective actions.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Proven management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, safety protocols, and assembly workflows.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and spoken English skills (French is not required).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a production environment.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Clean Criminal Code of Conduct check and Driver’s Abstract upon hire.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Mount Pearl, NL prior to start date.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
