Filtervac International is a world-wide leading manufacturer of Oil Purification/Regeneration Systems and other liquid filtration systems and Gas Flares.

Filtervac is looking for well organized individual who is self starter with solid technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

- Provide supervision, delegate work and provide on-going training to production workers (welders, fitters, general labours), automation and electrical staff.
- Work closely with project engineers/purchasing dept. to prepare production schedule and review production capacity.
- Ensure that jobs are performed within the allotted production hours and budget.
- Ensure orders are delivered as per specification and delivered to the customer on time.
- Ensure shop equipment is properly used and maintained.
- Arrange repairs of our equipment when required.
- Ensure that the workplace is safe for all employees and visitors.
- Ensure that safety policies and procedures within the Filtervac Health & Safety Manual are strictly adhered to and enforced.
- Track job hours vs budgeted hours and analyze ways to reduce production hours.




- Coordinate communication between engineering, purchasing and production
- Coordinate with sub-contractors.
- Update production progress reports and meetings.
- Work with ERP system

Qualifications

- Post-Secondary in a related field
- 5 plus years in a manufacturing environment - preferably in welding and fabrication
- 2 years of supervision experience
- Safety, quality and leadership training
- Proven leadership and team-building ability
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work under a high stress and fast paced environment
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with ERP system. Knowledge of Genius ERP is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00-$38.00 per hour
